"For You"

Soft, textile, organic was the approach for this Washington DC based credit union. This spot also did a circuit in HD flavor in movie theaters around the DC area.

"HD Channels"

Cox fires back letting their customers know HD content is on the way. This project had a fun "Oh noes!" moment at the 11th hour when After Effects didn't enjoy my 12,000 pixel x 12,000 pixel compostion.*sigh*

Gratuitous use of recognizable television and movie intellectual property imagery meshed with 500+ After Effects layers = One sweet :30 spot. It's a shame it doesn't have a cooler name (Spot 3? Come on!)

"Survivor"

A hip and stylized followup to our Cox "Everything Phone" spot. This one had us feeling a bit of a retro throwback to the classic Atari 2600 Pitfall game and anything that has that vibe is 100% solid with the DDK crew.

"Family Fun"

This HD production proved to be one of our hardest shoots ever.

The production required that we shoot during an actual game. We just barely escaped with our lives as the crowd was about to lynch mob us for being in their way. The umpires were alittle peeved as well. But, the spot came out nice!

"Your Friend in the Digital Age" spot 1

First in a series of spots in 2007, this campaign is to give a fresh look and new message to the local subscriber and non-subscriber audience.

We produced and directed both the HD location shoot as well as the animation that really pushed the 3D capabilities of After Effects. Keep an eye out for the next few in the series.

"Origami"

Cox wanted to convey the little know fact that you can do a whole lot more than just pay your bill at the Cox retail stores. We illustrated this fact by animating a Cox paper bill that transforms into the different media you can experience at the Cox stores.

We were pretty stoked about this spot because we got to jump back into some full 3D animation. It's simple but its really fun and effective.

"Get Moving"

Cox needed a fun, quick paced spot to promote their new customer service website getmovingwithcox.com. The all animated spot is a throwback to the "Catch Me If You Can" opening credits.

2007 Addy Awards Intro

The OKC Addy Awards is a video based presentation of winners and each year a intro piece is produced that sets the tone for the night. Our video (produced with Third Degree, Simon Hurst Photography, and Lucky Dog Audio) is a cohesive piece that stays in synch with other printed materials such as the Call for Entries, Invitations, Winners Book, etc.

We were given a mass of pristine digital photographs. We wanted the video to have a home movie grunge look and give the piece an overall "organic" feel.

The design of this campaign was so bold and bright we had to give the animation alot of character. A 2D and 3D approach was used.

Another fun quicky for Cox Communications. The animation style needed to adhere to existing broadcast but we were able to give it a fun holiday twist.

This was a quick turn around spot for Cox Communications. We were told "make it feel like we're flying around movies", given a huge heapin DVD full of movie posters, and sent on our way.

"Free for 3" Campaign

Everyone in the state of Oklahoma must have seen these spots. Cox ran the absolute dog crap out of these and guess what ... they worked.

Digital DK directed, edited, and animated all the spots. Shot in HD and on location in Ski Island, these spots were an absolute blast to work on. Many many laughs on set.

When we first read the scripts for these spots we were totally stoked. "Underwear", pretty edgy for this market, had us hooked. We had to do it.

Hastings
Campaign

The Hastings project gave us another opportunity at a region campaign. Hastings was rolling out a new image both from a marketing perspective and a brick-N-mortar perspective.

"Back in OKC"

Digital DK makes its NBA splash. The premise was simple. Cut some game footage, make it look cool, add a slammin sound fx and music mix, tell 'em where to get tickets. Done.

"Stormwater Fairy"

This is still one of our favorite projects to date. It was our first (and hopefully not last!) chance to work with the AMAZING local illustrator Dave Curd. This guy walks on water.

Addy's 2001 Award Show Intro

DDK was asked to produce the entire 2001 Addy gala show to follow up the previous years intro and show design. We were happy to take it on full force. But ... how to trump last years show ? Hmmm.
